Course Description
This course introduces students to the biological principles of nutrition and related topics,as demonstrated in the scientific literature and evidence-based practices Course topics include an introduction to human nutrition and food science;digestion,absorption,and metabolism; macronutrients micronutrients;nutrition in healthy and disease statuses;and energy balance,weight control,and obesity.
